Dear Esteemed Sponsors,
Warm Greetings from SERUDS!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your exceptional and prompt support, which has significantly impacted the impoverished children attending our daycare centers through the GlobalGiving Foundation USA. Since 2009, we have been running three daycare centers specifically designed for the children of low-income working women. Due to the challenges posed by insufficient rainfall, many parents are forced to leave their agricultural fields and seek employment as daily wage laborers at construction sites in nearby towns and cities.
In our ongoing mission to assist isolated rural communities, we actively identify low-income families and encourage them to bring their children to our daycare centers. This intervention helps prevent children from accompanying their parents to hazardous construction sites where they might play in unsafe areas.
Currently, parents drop off their children at our daycare centers around 9:30 a.m. as they head to work, and return to pick them up at 4:00 p.m. The structured routine has greatly improved the children's habits, and our daycare facilities are running smoothly and efficiently.
Each of our three centers caters to children aged one to six, with a capacity of twenty-five children per center. These centers are staffed by two dedicated caregivers each. During their time at our facilities, children are provided with a safe environment, engaging toys, nutritious meals, snacks, and pre-primary education. The children are learning valuable habits, such as tidying up, recognizing alphabets and rhymes, identifying fruits with educational charts, and wearing freshly laundered clothes. It is truly heartwarming to see the joy and progress of the children in our care.
We are thrilled to update you on the positive impact your support has made. The sight of happy, smiling children is a testament to the success of our programs.
Thank you for your continued support of children's education and for enabling us to provide essential assistance to those in need.
