Respected Donor

Greetings from SERUDS

Many poor women residing at Madigageri, Budhavarapeta, Kurnool are working in market yards and other hospitals, hotels as sweepers and cleaners. Most of the time they will be at their work places. During their vocation kids are not caring by any one in their homes. The kids are playing here and there in the hazardous locations. SERUDS has been running 3 crèche centres at Madigageri, Thota, Bandi Thandrapadu since 2010 for the children of age group 1 to 6 yrs. In this slum areas women are working in hazardous jobs like beedi (tobacco) making, scavenging, some of the women are doing small work in market yards and private hospitals and educational institutions as sweepers & ayas. They have no time and energy to take care of their kids during day time. These small kids have no proper care and protection at their respective houses, since there is no one to take care of them. Hence it is necessary to have some facility to care and protect the children during the day time when their mothers are at work place. Therefore SERUDS established 3 crèche centres with 30 kids in each center. These centres equipped with toys, charts, cosmetics, etc. The care takers and ayas has taking care of the kids. Nutritious diet like hot cooked food, biscuits, chocolates, fruits, etc. has been providing as midday meal & during day care center. The children are habituated good manners.

The kids are habituated good health & sanitation practices. They are able to recognize fruits, animals, birds and National leaders. Some kids are able to read and write alphabets. They are happy with playing with toys and singing rhymes. The working mothers felt happy and expressed their gratitude to you, who are supporting them and the esteemed organization GlobalGiving. Such initiatives will facilitate for development of human resources at later stage.

Thank you for your kind patronage for this noble cause.
