Back to school! Second semester is here!

The beadwork
The beadwork

The April school holidays are currently ongoing, and we are looking forward to welcoming our children back to school soon. At Tumaini Centre, we have had a wonderful time engaging with all the children we support. They participated in a variety of activities, including artwork, painting, and beadwork. These activities are part of our efforts to align with the new education system, which emphasizes the development of talents and practical skills. I would like to remind you that without your continued support this would not have happened, thank you for your support.

This year, we were only able to admit a small number of orphans due to the high number of pupils already enrolled who also lack sufficient support. It has not been easy to turn away some children in need, but we remain committed to doing our best for the children currently in our care and supporting their families effectively.

We have welcomed 15 new pupils from single-parent families, most of whom have lost their fathers. As you know, supporting one child has a ripple effect, it helps not only that child but also their siblings and empowers the parent to better care for the entire family.

We are pleased to assure you that all the children under our support are attending school and have access to the necessary supplies. We remain deeply grateful for your continued generosity and commitment to ensuring these children receive an education. We also appreciate your efforts in sharing our mission with friends and family, and we look forward to growing our community of supporters.

Once again, thank you very much for your generosity and unwavering support.
