Greetings from the Tumaini family!
It has been a week since our children returned to school after the holiday break, and we are delighted to share a wonderful update with you.
The children had a refreshing and joyful holiday at home with their families and came back to school excited, well-rested, and ready to complete the final semester of the year. One of the highlights of the holiday was reviewing their assessment books together. It brought great joy to all of us to see their progress. The results were very encouraging, with most of the children showing significant improvement. Those who had struggled during the first semester made noticeable progress, and we believe this was largely because they were able to remain in school throughout the entire term without interruptions.
The final semester is always the busiest and shortest of the academic year. It is also a very important season because our national examination candidates are preparing for their exams. This year, we have children sitting for the Grade 6, Grade 9, and Form 4 national examinations. They are studying diligently, and we are confident they will do their best. Their recent assessments have shown us that they are capable, determined, and ready for the challenge ahead.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to you. Everything we are celebrating today has been made possible through your faithful support. The children you sponsor have had the privilege of staying in school the entire year, receiving the resources they need to learn, grow, and perform well. Your generosity has given them stability, hope, and the opportunity to succeed. Thank you for investing in their future and believing in them.
During the school holidays, we also organized a three-week soccer tournament for our students. The senior school students actively participated in the matches, while the younger children enthusiastically cheered on their favorite teams. It was a wonderful time of fellowship, fun, teamwork, and building friendships. The tournament filled the holidays with laughter and excitement, and the children returned to school happy and energized.
Thank you once again for making all of this possible. Your love, prayers, and support continue to change the lives of our children in remarkable ways. We are deeply grateful to have you as part of the Tumaini family, and we look forward to sharing more of the children's journey with you in the months ahead.
With sincere gratitude,
The Tumaini Miles of Smiles Family
