We want to say a big thank you to the entire GlobalGiving team for all their help and support by advertising our project and organizing all of our donations. Waking up every morning and seeing those kids who couldn’t afford to continue with their studies in university is something that is beyond our comprehension.
Most of our scholarship students are now approaching their junior year at Cuttington University. They have just completed the semester and are waiting for a new semester. VAAFD beneficiaries made a visit to the Carolyn A. Miller High School campus during the vacation.
In their recent meeting at the university library, VAAFD scholarship students discuss plans to visit their root, which is the Carolyn A. Miller High school campus, every vacation to utilize their knowledge and experience to help with the kids who may be struggling academically. Student Harriet told the VAAFD media team in an interview that this process will give them more exposure to advance in their career path.
The president of the scholarship is making a huge impact around the campus. Student Titus said that he is now having a tutorial class around the university campus. According to him, this initiative will help him increase his knowledge in his field of study and also help him contribute to society positively. He also said it will help him to share his personal journey as a scholarship student and impact the lives of many youth around the university.
Thanks for always impacting the lives of our kids and for contributing to our society. We also want to acknowledge the invaluable support that goes beyond monetary donations. We cannot thank you enough for your continuous support and trust in our ability to bring about meaningful change. Thanks for being part of our extended family and for making our work possible.
VAAFD family is gleeful to see their scholarship students thinking in the direction of giving back to society.
