Sponsor destitute university students in Liberia

Vision Awake Africa For Development (VAAFD) family is grateful to all you for your humanitarian support in our organization.  Unfortunately we faced some financial constraints that lead to the dropping out of many of our students this semester. It’s disheartening to see talented individuals unable to pursue their education because of a lack of funds.

When VAAFD had a talk with Jerry who is one of the victims, he said this situation is a total setback for him because it has put his dreams on hold. In addition he said it’s sad when financial barriers prevent individuals from pursuing their dreams.

Jerry said the generosity of amazing donors has made a significant impact on his educational journey in the past, and he is hopeful that with the continued support of donors, he will be able to return to school and continue pursuing his dreams.

The president of VAAFD scholarship Titus said, “The semester had a mixed feeling. We are feeling happy because we had a successful semester and we are also sad because many of our colleagues dropped out due to the lack of funds”.

We are thankful for everything you have done for us in the past, and still continue to do.  We are asking donors to please support our scholarship program, because it will help students like Jerry to overcome financial barriers and pursue his educational goals.

It’s disheartening to see talented individuals unable to pursue their education because of a lack of funds. Any assistance you can provide would mean the world to our students and help them get back to track with their studies.
