"Spreading Joy: Christmas and New Year Celebrations at Seruds Joy Home in Kurnool" 

In the heart of Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, Seruds extends its compassionate arms to vulnerable children through the Joy Home orphanage. Dedicated to providing not only shelter but also quality food and education, Seruds embarked on a mission to make Christmas and New Year memorable for the young souls in its care. The festivities at Joy Home were not just about celebrating holidays; they were about creating lasting memories and infusing the children's lives with hope and happiness.

As December unfolded, the halls of Joy Home came alive with the spirit of Christmas. Volunteers and staff members joined hands to deck the halls with colorful decorations, transforming the orphanage into a festive wonderland. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the children eagerly anticipated the joyous celebrations that awaited them.

On Christmas day, the dining hall at Joy Home became a place of joyous gathering. A sumptuous feast awaited the children, with a menu carefully curated to cater to their tastes and preferences. Volunteers and caretakers donned Santa hats, adding a touch of whimsy to the occasion as they served the special holiday meal. The laughter and camaraderie that filled the room reflected the warmth of the season.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the exchange of gifts. Each child at Joy Home received a carefully selected present, wrapped with love and care. The joy in their eyes as they unwrapped the gifts spoke volumes about the impact of thoughtful gestures on these young hearts. These gifts not only brought happiness but also reinforced the sense of belonging and care that Joy Home aims to provide. 

New Year's Hope:

As the Christmas celebrations concluded, the anticipation for the New Year began to build. A New Year's Eve party filled with music, dance, and shared dreams created an atmosphere of hope and optimism. The children at Joy Home welcomed the coming year with wide smiles and a sense of belonging, grateful for the love and care that surrounded them.

The celebrations at Joy Home were not confined within its walls. Seruds actively involved the local community, fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility towards the welfare of these children. The community's support played a crucial role in making the festivities more meaningful and inclusive.

We sincerely appreciate your generosity and support of the GlobalGiving Foundation's orphans and street children.

We regularly share inspirational success stories with street children and orphans about personal cleanliness and sanitation for children's safety, in addition to our academic programs. Every youngster in the children's home will receive medical attention and checkups. Our major areas of concern are the special education of kids as well as good oral hygiene, brushing, and cleaning of teeth, as well as the value of education and language development.

We began the children's home 13 years ago with five underprivileged orphans, and today we sponsor 75 orphans by offering them three meals a day—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—a top-notch education, special classes for upper-class students, a suitable place to live, recreational opportunities, sanitation, hygiene, and medical attention from specialists for both boys and girls separately. The youngsters are in the 7–18 age range are enrolled in Keshava Memorial High School, and IGMM school. Youngsters excel in school and are highly engaged in sports and NCC Camps. Some of the studnts studies at KVR Degree College for women. 

75 orphan children are receiving full benefits from the children's orphanage this academic year. The orphanage houses cheerful children who attend schools and universities on a regular basis and make good academic progress. We appreciate all of your generosity and care toward the bright future of the kids.
