Warm Greetings from SERUDS.
Thank you for all your kind continuing support for the abandoned orphan, street children in our Joy Home Children Orphanage, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India. 40 abandoned orphans are studying well, having nutritious food includes Idly, Dosa, Pongal, Ponganalu, Vada, Poori, Uthappam (7am to 8am) in the break fast and lunch includes, steamed cooked rice, Taar Dhal, Sambhar, Mixed Vegetable Curry, Leafy Vegetables fry, Curd, Banana or Seasonal fruit and Dinner includes Rice, Dhal, Rasam, Pappu, etc. The children are very healthy and maintaining Hygienic standards in the Joy Home Orphanage.
The children wake up at 5am in the early morning starts with prayer and refreshes one by one till 7am and they will have breakfast 7am to 8am and till 9am they will sit in the study hours and then goes to the Indira gandhi municipal memorial high school, a.camp, beside collectorate, kurnool. We are maintaining health files and academic files for all the inmates of the Orphanage. Children are so happy for all these facilities providing by indivial philonthropic contributions through esteemed organization Global Giving. Thanks to GlobalGiving Donors expressed by the Orphan Children because they are getting timely food and education support with out any hurdels.
SERUDS Charity organized zoo park trip to orphan students of Joy Home Orphanage to Zoo Park at Hyderabad on 19.10.2014. A special bus with 35 Orphan Children started at Kurnool at 6am and reached Zoo Park by 10am. 10 member team of SERUDS consist of Staff, Volunteers, Members escorted the children. The orphan children visited Zoo Park from 11am to 6pm. In Zoo Park they were shown Lion, Tigers, Snacks, Monkeys Zone, Train Ride, Battery Operated Vehicle, Bear, Peacocks, Different Plants & Flowers, Aquarium, Cheeta, Crocodiles, etc.
The orphan children have enjoyed the trip. They have seen the birds & animals that they never seen before. They also excited in seeing different kinds of plants & flowers at Zoo Park. This trip facilitated in improving their knowledge on birds, animals, plants, flowers etc and increased their creativity & imaginative power. During the trip, they forgot that they are orphans. The team of SERUDS made them happy and Joyful.
