Greetings from SERUDS
In the SERUDS Orphanage 42 abadoned orphan children are Studying from I std to X std in IGMM High School, A.Camp, Kurnool and One adolescent Girl studying XI grade in MPC group in Gayathri Junior College, Gayathri Estate, Kurnool. The age group of the children are 5 to 16years. These Children belongs to different family backgrounds like broken families, parents suicide attempted, extra marital relationships, both parents passed away, single parent, etc.
We identify these childre from the rural areas of Kurnool District and Mahabubnagar districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states respectively. 2nd Week of October 2016, As part of the Course Curriculum of Undergratuation in USA, Volunteers Ms.Grace Stephenson and Mr.Zander Lyskin visited Joy Home Orphanage and spent all the time with the Orphan Children. Children were so happy, enthusiastic and mingled with them in all the activities. They taught Mathematics, English, Internet Concepts to all the children during their volunteership.
Every day they goes to the School at 9.30Am and come back to Orphanage at 4.30pm. Afternoon they have lunch at 1 pm and lunch includes, steamed cooked rice, taar dhal, mixed vegetable curry, seasonal picles, curd, etc. With this nutritious diet children are very healthy and bold to achieve their goals. Some of the children want's to become as Doctor, Software Engineer, Lecturer, Teacher in their careers.
Children are very confident at studies and active at sports and games. Thanking you for supporting the noble cause. With out your generous support it is very difficult for us to serve the destitute and needy.
