Sponsor food groceries to old age people in India

Thank you for your kind contribution for the hapless oldage persons through esteemed nonprofit organization GlobalGiving.

The Destitute Elderly Persons are neglected by their Sons and Daughters. The age group of old age persons are 60 to 90years. Because of the age concern they are not able to do any kind of vocation. Some of them are homeless and begging on the streets. Some of the elderly women are not having Children.

Most of them are Widows. Sons and Daughters not at all taking care of elderly persons, who are having children. They got married and living separately with out looking after their mothers. In this critical juncture the older women were approached SERUDS authorities to provide food groceries for them to prevent hunger.

As part of regular programs we have identified 20 old age persons in Pasupala Village, Kurnool Mandal & district and providing Monthly Groceries Kit includes Rice, Dhal, Tamarind, Cooking Oil, Hair Oil, Bathing Soaps, Detergent Soaps, Lentils, Species, Biscuits, Fruits, etc. Due to age concern, some of the old age persons are not able to cook themselves. So neighbours are cooking and serving them and they also support these elderly persons for toilets and bathing time.

With this monthly provisions they are able to eat daily and their health standards have been improved. They expressed sincere gratitude towards this kind gesture.

Thank you for all your generous contributions to provide mothly groceries to the destitute old age persons in Pasupala Village, Kurnool Mandal & District of Andhra Pradesh. For the year 2015-2016 we have identified and supporting every month groceries for the 20 destitute elders, who are neglected by their sons and daughters. 

The poor elderly persons in the village approached us to reduce hunger. After discussing with the community leaders, social impact leaders, volunteers we have surveyed and providing monthly food provisions and other necessary material to these 20 destitute old age persons. In the Groceries Kit we provide Sona Masoori Rice, Taar Dal, Coconut Oil, Species, Lentils, Onions, Biscuits, vegetables, Fruits, Bathing Soaps, Detergent Soaps, Cooking Oil, etc. 

With this groceries support the old age women are able to have 3 times food and the health standards have been improved. Some times we take them to the near by hospitals for health checkups. The elderly persons are very happy for this kind gesture. The expressed sincere gratitude towards your kind help. With out your kind generous support through GlobalGiving organization it is very difficult for us to serve the destitute and needy in time.
