Warm Greetings from SERUDS
As part of ongoing programme 20 destitute older persons are getting food groceries support in Pasupala Village, Kurnool Mandal & District. These oldage persons are neglected by their sons, daughters, in-laws. The age group of the older people is 60 to 90years. They belongs to below poverty line and suffers with starvation. Due to old age they are not able to work and feed themselves. Some of them are not having children also. Some of them lives in Community Halls, Varandas. In this critical juncture old age women are approached SERUDS to provide food provisions on monthly basis to prevent their hunger. Neighbours are cooking for homeless elderly and who are not able to cook themselves due to ill-health.
SERUDS is providing Monthly Groceries to the 20 destitute elderly persons in Pasupala village. One grocery kit consists of Rice, Dhal, Tamarind, Soaps, Lentils, Species, Detergent & Bathing Soaps, Hair & Cooking Oil, Onions, Biscuits, Vegetables, etc. With this groceries kit at least they are able to eat and got a confidence to live some more days. The Oldage women health standards have been improved. They expresses sincere gratitude towards kind gesture.
