Dear Esteemed Donor,
Warm regards from SERUDS,
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of food supplies for the underprivileged elderly residents of Pasupala Village in Kurnool. For the past twelve years, we have dedicated ourselves to this initiative, which focuses on providing monthly food provisions to elderly individuals in need. This support enables them to maintain a degree of independence, especially considering that many of them have been abandoned by their own families. Their families often neglect them, leaving them in a state of despair and lacking self-respect.
Our ongoing project aims to assist elderly women who are not only impoverished but also living in unsanitary conditions. The initiative was born out of a pressing need to address their critical situation. Many of these women live in rudimentary shelters with thatched roofs, unable to work due to declining health and advanced age. They are no longer able to contribute to agriculture or engage in other forms of labor.
Providing monthly food and basic toiletries is crucial for these poverty-stricken elderly women. To ensure that we meet their needs effectively, we regularly collaborate with like-minded individuals and community leaders to understand their current situations and family backgrounds. In Pasupala Village, we have identified twenty senior women, ranging from sixty to ninety years old, who receive monthly groceries. These include essential items such as lentils, Taar Dhal, Tamarind, Sona Masoori Rice, bathing and laundry soaps, hair oil, cooking oil, ground nuts, upma ravva, Ata, seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables, and biscuits.
On the first day of each month, we collect all the food supplies and travel to the village to distribute them. This not only provides the necessary provisions but also fosters a sense of dignity and self-reliance among the elderly residents.
The elderly women greet you and your family with heartfelt smiles and sincere blessings, deeply appreciating your kindness. We are truly grateful for your continued support in providing these essential groceries. Rest assured, our beneficiaries hold you and your family in their daily prayers, wishing you all the best.
Thank you once again for your unwavering generosity.
