Respected Donor,

Warm greetings from SERUDS!

We deeply appreciate your unwavering support and generosity, which allows us to continue assisting the most vulnerable members of society.

As part of our ongoing program, we are providing essential grocery support to 20 destitute elderly individuals in Pasupala Village, Kurnool Mandal & District. These elderly persons, aged between 60 and 90 years, have been abandoned by their families, including their sons, daughters, and in-laws. Many belong to the below-poverty-line category and suffer from extreme starvation.

Due to their advanced age and frail health, they are unable to work and feed themselves. Some of them have no children to care for them, while others live in makeshift shelters such as community halls or verandas, struggling to survive. In their dire situation, many elderly women approached SERUDS, seeking monthly food provisions to alleviate their hunger. For those who are homeless or unable to cook due to ill health, compassionate neighbors step in to prepare meals using the groceries we provide.

SERUDS ensures that each of these 20 elderly individuals receives a comprehensive monthly grocery kit. Each kit includes essential items like rice, dal (lentils), tamarind, spices, onions, vegetables, biscuits, cooking oil, hair oil, bathing soap, detergent, and more. These groceries enable the elderly to have regular meals, providing them with much-needed nourishment and restoring their confidence to face each day.

The impact of this initiative is profound. Many of the elderly women have reported improved health and express heartfelt gratitude for the kindness extended to them. They no longer have to endure the pangs of hunger or the despair of neglect, and your support has truly given them hope and dignity.

On behalf of these elderly individuals and everyone at SERUDS, we thank you for supporting this noble cause. Together, we are making a lasting difference in their lives and offering them a reason to smile once again.
