Sponsor food groceries to old age people in India

Greetings.

As part of our regular monthly food groceries distribution program to the destitute old age persons, senior citizens this month 12.02.2014 we have distributed 20 food groceries kits to the 20 old age women in Joharapuram slum, Kurnool Mandal, Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh. These most neglected senior citizens belong to Joharapuram slum. On humanitarian grounds, every month we are supporting the destitute elderly persons wherever is desire.

This is a pathetic story of Smt. Buddamma aged 72 years old belongs to Backward Community. She is living in Joharapuram slum, Kurnool Mandal, Kurnool District. She is having two sons, who are working was daily wage labourers in Agriculture fields. Husband Mr.Nagendrappa died due to health reasons. Sons and Daughter-in-laws are not caring her. She is having terrible condition that, how she could lead her remaining life. She is having knee pain and could not do any work. Some times she will get food from neighbours. In this critical juncture, SERUDS identified her and providing monthly groceries.

Benefits Provided:
We have provided ration kit consisting of Sona Masoori Dry Rice, Thar Dal, Cooking Oil, Tamarind, and Coconut for vegetable curries, Coriander Powder, Dry Chilli Powder, Salt, ETA Detergent Soaps, Santoor Soaps, Coconut Hair Oil, fruits and vegetables with the individual donations.
Impact of Donation:
With this support she is happily cooking and having food 3 times in a day. Thereby she is happily living and her physical & health conditions have been considerably increased.
