Dear Project Supporters,
The Coronavirus AKA COVID-19 continues to disrupt lives and businesses globally. The businesses in Sierra Leone are no exception. A microfinance loan was given to Josie, a local tailor, to help purchase supplies to sew masks to stop the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus from person to person. Josie sent this video of appreciation for the microfinance loan he received. In the video he said-
Thank you Develop Africa and all the donors who supported me. God bless you. Thank you.
With the COVID-19 pandemic taking the focus of all of our attention, your ongoing support will continue to support local tailors like Josie and other small businesses in Freetown.
We encourage you to consider starting a monthly recurring donation here. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way to give individuals a hand up in their businesses. Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
With great appreciation,
Amy &The Develop Africa Team
