Workforce training plays a vital role in empowering young people to find careers where they can thrive. Recently, Develop Africa hosted a tailoring workshop for young adults in Freetown, Sierra Leone. This hands-on training, made possible through your generous support, equipped participants with basic tailoring skills.
These workshops not only provide practical skills but also give young people the opportunity to explore different career paths. By testing various professions, they can discover the careers that best fit their talents and aspirations. Programs like this help build confidence, foster independence, and contribute to financial stability. You can see the students practicing their newly learned skills in this video.
Your ongoing support is critical for sustaining initiatives like these. With your help, we can continue offering workforce empowerment sessions.
