It's reported that a wheat storage facility has been completely destroyed.
Lebanon is entering now the worst economic crisis threatening its stability since the civil war, which took place between 1975 and 1990. Poverty has become the fate of social groups of Lebanese, who depend on their hard currency savings. According to save the children international 1 million person living in Beirut does not have enough money to secure their food needs due to the financial crises including 564.000 children.
Naba'a has developed an urgent appeal, aiming to meeting the urgent and basic needs of families whom have been affected directly by the explosion by providing them with basic tools and materials to enable them to restore what have been lost by the explosion. The project will play an important role in protecting 500 families including refugees, children, women and old people directly effected by explosion to cover their urgent and immediate basic needs.
