#StandWithGirls in the Philippines!

Dear Supporters, 

2025 has begun with strong intention, and in just 90 days, Girls Got This and FundLife has already made remarkable progress — both metaphorically and, most importantly, through the collective power of purpose and community.

We’re thrilled to share the latest updates from the first quarter of 2025, highlighting the meaningful strides we’ve made alongside the girls and young women we serve. From January to March, our team has been dedicated to delivering safe, inclusive, and empowering programs that go beyond play — creating real opportunities for learning, leadership, and growth.

Thanks to your unwavering support, we’ve been able to reach more youth, amplify more voices, and deepen the impact of our work in communities that need it most.

Below are some key milestones from January to March 2025, showcasing the accomplishments of the girls and young women involved in FundLife’s Girls Got This initiatives:

• Conducted 103 after-school futsal sessions integrating topics on menstrual hygiene, teenage pregnancy prevention, and water sanitation and conservation.
• Facilitated 23 mentorship sessions focused on personal development, teenage pregnancy prevention, and personal identity.
• Held two “Champion Sessions,” reaching 150+ girls and spotlighting inspiring stories of the Philippines’ first Olympic gold medalist in weightlifting and Miss Universe 2018.
• Organized 2 futsal tournaments for under-13 and under-20 girls, engaging 200 highly vulnerable adolescent participants.
• Delivered a capacity-building session on safeguarding, gender equity, and inclusive sports programming to over 50 youth leaders, barangay officials, and coaches.
• Co-led a Women’s Month celebration with 200+ participants, including BCPC representatives, Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) officers, and youth leaders.
• Produced and distributed 200 copies of EIC materials on the VAWC Law for women and youth community partners.
• Mobilized over 1,200 women and gender equity advocates through the “Move for Equity” campaign.

While the numbers reflect our progress, the true impact lives in the confidence gained, the choices empowered, and the voices of girls who are shaping their own futures.
