Over the past 90 days, Girls Got This has continued to create safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces for children and youth. Our programs have provided opportunities for girls to not only learn and play, but also to build resilience, develop leadership, and strengthen their voices within their communities.

This period has been filled with growth, determination, and impact. With the support of mentors, schools, and community partners, we expanded opportunities for adolescent girls to thrive — both on the pitch and beyond. Each activity reinforced our commitment to ensuring every girl has the tools and confidence to shape her own future.

Here are some of the milestones from the past 90 days:

• 149 after-school football and futsal sessions held in Tacloban and Dulag, integrating life skills like teamwork, empathy, resilience, and community responsibility.
• 15 mentorship sessions facilitated, providing guidance on health, study habits, and career development.
• 11 Champion Sessions delivered, inspiring 200+ girls through the stories of local female leaders who modeled courage and leadership.
• 3 futsal festivals organized, reaching 400+ young people and opening pathways for top players to participate in larger city-wide competitions.
• 6 capacity-building workshops conducted for youth mentors, teachers, and community leaders on enterprise skills, first aid, and sustainability practices.
• One girl-led livelihood venture launched, supported with mentorship and seed funding, providing her family with income and inspiring her peers with a real example of girl-driven entrepreneurship.
• Partnership secured with the Department of Education for the 2026 Girls Community League – Schools Edition, ensuring inclusive sports for more than 200 adolescent girls in its pilot phase.
