STEM Education in Syunik - Goris

We successfully launched the new academic year and welcomed new students to the institution.

Currently, the institution is equipped with a greenhouse, a pottery studio, a 3D printing and robotics room, and computer labs.

We have resumed collaboration with Sevada Khojabaghyan’s school and started programming courses for around 15 students. These courses are organized and taught by graduates of our educational center.

We are successfully continuing national dance events for the youth of the city.

Our students are actively participating in various educational and business grant programs. Notably, Ani Yuzbashyan won a grant for her innovative idea and has initiated the implementation of hydroponic systems in her village.

Two of our students have founded their own business, aiming to fulfill innovative orders in web development and 3D printing applications.

This is also a success for our organization, as we collaborate with different programs and encourage our students to propose ideas and explore their potential.

This year, we have already begun utilizing the greenhouse. The students have planted several tropical trees in the greenhouse and have also started growing greens. Students from the educational center will be involved in the entire cultivation process in various ways.

During the second academic semester, the foundation's educational activities continued in their normal course.

We have completed the construction of the greenhouse, which aims to involve students in greenhouse management automation issues. Students will also have the opportunity to study greenhouse operation principles, plant cultivation technologies, and grow various crops themselves.
We plan to put this into practice starting from this September.

The next important achievement is that the Foundation has received a license from the Government of the Republic of Armenia and now officially provides vocational education.
This is a serious alternative for the youth of Goris.

The school's students participated in robotics courses organized by the AugmentAr company, gaining experience in conducting courses, maintenance, 3D printing, as well as robotics principles. Over 30 students have completed the three-month robotics course.

The school's students have successfully defended their course projects.

Our students, in collaboration with Sevada Khojabagyan's school, are conducting programming courses with its graduates. In the current phase, they have started a new course with about 15 students.

The students are actively involved in the social and cultural life of Goris city. In particular, our students organize regular national dance teaching events, which are attended by around 50 young people from the city.

Our students have founded a hiking club, within which hikes are conducted along the otherworldly mountain trails of Goris.

The members of the pottery group continue to improve their skills and participate in various exhibition-sales.
