Limited educational opportunity prevents the DRC from developing as it should. One of the richest countries in the world in terms of natural resources is one of the poorest in terms of economic development. Outside a few modern cities, there is virtually no government infrastructure. Isolation breeds lawlessness, poverty, and myriad abuses for the disconnected and underserved people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Evidence demonstrates that support for Higher Education can help a nation solve social problems. STEM Scholarship funding provides the means of empowerment for social and economic development. Global partners include the IEEE organization of Professional Electrical Engineers.
STEM Technology can provide electrification to support education, micro-businesses, agriculture, and industry resulting in socio-economic empowerment that will raise up the entire Congolese Nation. Long Term Impacts are Socio-Economic Development, Social Entrepreneurship, Smart Villages, and Ethical Industry to End to Human Rights Abuses. In the year 2020: We want to award 100 scholarships. By the year 2030: 700 well-trained scientists will be working in the DRC! Let's Work Together!
