Dear respected donors,
Thank you for your early support for our work to stop animal abuse in West Africa. The donations received so far are still too low to begin full rescue and shelter operations, but we are grateful for your contribution and want to share the urgent conditions this project aims to change.
Across many communities, animals such as dogs, cats, horses, and donkeys face harsh treatment. Some are beaten, starved, or abandoned after years of service. Horses and donkeys work long hours under poor conditions with no rest. Dogs and cats are often used for consumption or left to wander without food or care. These acts cause severe suffering and shorten animal life spans. Weak legal protections and limited public awareness mean abuse often goes unchallenged.
This project will rescue animals from dangerous situations and provide veterinary care, food, and shelter. Trained teams will work with local veterinarians to treat injuries, vaccinate rescued animals, and support recovery. School and community education sessions will help replace harmful practices with kindness and proper care. By creating awareness and offering hands-on support, the project seeks to reduce the number of animals facing abuse.
Once fully funded, we will establish safe shelters, expand rescue operations, and run public education campaigns. These shelters will serve as long-term havens for animals that cannot return to unsafe environments. Community programs will teach humane care, helping more families understand the value of treating animals with compassion.
We sincerely appreciate every donor helping us move closer to these goals. Your support is important in protecting vulnerable animals and promoting humane practices across the region.
Warm regards,
