Stop Ebola Spread Through Child Safety Education

Dear Donors,

Recent Ebola outbreaks in parts of Africa remind us that infectious diseases do not respect borders. Increased travel, migration, trade, and movement across the continent mean that every country must remain vigilant. While Nigeria successfully contained the Ebola outbreak in 2014, many children today were not born during that crisis and have little understanding of how Ebola spreads or how it can be prevented.

Through this project, Empower Future Initiative (EFI) is preparing children and communities with lifesaving Ebola prevention education. We will teach proper handwashing, personal hygiene, disease awareness, symptom recognition, and safe behaviors during outbreaks. Children who understand prevention measures become powerful health ambassadors within their families and schools.

Public health experts agree that prevention is far less costly than responding to a full-scale outbreak. By educating children today, we help strengthen community health resilience for tomorrow.

Your support helps us provide educational materials, conduct school health sessions, train community volunteers, and reach vulnerable children before an emergency occurs. Every donation helps build a safer and healthier Nigeria.

Together, we can stop misinformation, promote public health education, and protect children from future Ebola outbreaks.

Thank you for helping us invest in prevention.
