We officially opened the Whisper maternity on 25th of May 2018. We have received a total of 727 mothers who registered for our maternity services. We have a full time professional gynecologist who is also a consultant dealing with women reproductive issues.
We have carried out over 41 deliveries categorised under Normal deliveries, Elective and emergency C-sections. We get a lot of feedback from our patients through our social media sites informing us a bout the impact of our maternity services to the community.
The community appreciates the great work we are doing. So many mothers have suggested that we expand our maternity services to Kampala and other cities in Uganda. So many lives are being saved and we are so grateful to our lovely donors for supporting us to make our dream of reducing the high maternal mortality rate in Jinja a reality.
