Stop Ugandan women & children dying at childbirth

Thank you for your great generosity! We, at Whisper’s Children’s Magical Children’s Hospital greatly appreciate your donation, and your sacrifice. Your support helps to further our mission through the Stop Ugandan women & children dying at childbirth project.

Together we are making a difference in the lives of these mothers and babies.  Since we opened our maternity section two years ago, Whispers has continued being a referral for complicated pregnancies.

In Uganda, a lot of mothers loose their lives during childbirth but through your support to Whisper’s Magical Children’s Hospital, we have been able to reach out to these mothers who would have died during labour or lost their children at child birth.

In the past three months, we received a total of 70 mothers; out of these we had 40 safe deliveries and 20 Caesarean section.

We are so grateful for your continuous support as it helped us make a difference in the lives of these mothers and babies.

In the last three months, we also expanded our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Whisper has become a referral for neonates as we pay close attention to them. Just within the last three months, we received a total of 35 prematures. Good news the lives of these babies were saved and they are now in good condition.
