Dear donor friend, I hope you are healthy.
Today I want to tell you that thanks to your generous contribution and that of other donors like you, in 2021 we have been able to provide 67 Colombian women between the ages of 20 and 65, access to mental health care through 283 free psychological services. For them and their children, we manage and organize 56 training meetings and theoretical and practical training in entrepreneurship; In addition, we managed to get 12 women to start with their business ideas by delivering seed capital.
One of them is Dora, 21 years old, she is the oldest of three brothers; she is protective, dedicated and responsible for the care of her siblings and her mother. He lives 2 hours from the city of Medellín in the municipality of Amagá Antioquia, in a small house located in one of its villages. She longs to study early childhood care and thanks to the opportunities and support that the Foundation has given her, her goals are clearer every day.
She is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the project, since, thanks to the knowledge acquired in the training meetings, she has discovered new skills and abilities previously unknown to her, she has explored other fields of action and achieved economic empowerment that she previously saw as impossible. From the training meetings, Dora highlights the training in surprises that has allowed her to generate new income and undertake to be able to pay for the career she wants.
Thanks to your altruism and generosity, we can continue our work, so that many women like Dora can break cycles of violence and achieve economic independence. Together we can continue contributing to the eradication of gender violence.
