Dear Friends,
Following the devastating earthquake of November 2023, PHASE Nepal has been working in Barekot and Kushe Rural Municipalities to strengthen healthcare services with a focus on vulnerable groups. The project supports government health facilities through capacity building, awareness programs, and direct support to beneficiaries.
Completed Activities
In total, over 4,934 people—including antenatal mothers, caregivers, persons with disabilities, and adolescents—have directly benefited from these initiatives.
Impact
Through workshops and trainings, communities have gained vital knowledge on maternal health, safe hygiene practices, and mental well-being. Health workers and caregivers are now better prepared to provide quality care, while vulnerable groups feel more supported and included.
Testimony
"Before, I did not know how to care for myself during pregnancy. After attending the orientation, I understand proper nutrition and hygiene, which makes me feel more confident and safe." – Pregnant mother, Barekot RM
We sincerely thank you for your continued support. Together, we are building healthier, more resilient communities in Jajarkot.
