Look what your support has accomplished in 2024!
These photos, taken just days ago, give you a fresh look at our eager students. Our classes continue to welcome students of all ages. Your support this past year and in the years before have created a happy, safe and welcoming environment to kids from underpriviledged backgrounds. The school is a great equalizer: everyone is trying to learn something and all are welcome to try new things.
Your generous donations make all of this possible. We have managed to keep the school open in 2024 because of your support. We have funding on hand to take us to about April 2025 and we hope that we can somehow make it through all of 2025!
Our classes are offered in a morning and afternoon session, 6 days per week, free of charge. We are averaging about 100 student visits per day. If we maintain this level, this means 100 student visits x 6 days x 50 weeks = 30,000 student visits in a year.Each student visit costs only about $ 3, when we look at the total costs of running the school, estimaged at $87,000.
We hope that you are as proud of our students as we are and that you will consider sponsoring a student for a week or longer.
