GlobalGiving will offer a match to donations on July 15 from $ 100 to $ 1500 from  10:00am EDT ( New York time) to 10 PM EDT.

Mark returned at the end of May from Cambodia, where he  visited all  of  our projects.

Champey continues to thrive and attract students to its classes in art ( painting & drawing ) , dance, music . Attendance continues to be robuse ranging from 65 to as many as 120 students daily. A great deal depends on  the Cambodian school year schedule, holidays and whether students are preparing for exams.

Champey relies upon tourist for a significant part, about 45%  of its operating expenses, which are estimated at $ 86,000 for  2026.  The tourist " high season"  runs from December through January . Even after the high season, we still attrach a handful of visitors each week.

It is worth noting that last " season"  Champey had a total of 971 tourist / visitors. Our students are able to display their artwork and also perform for these guests, events which add greatly to their ambitions to become better artists and performers.

Champey is an oasis for many of its students, who live in very modest and often economically challenged environments,.

We hope that you will join us on July 15 for the match day so that we can continue to offer these wonderful experiences to our students who not only learn about Cambodia's rich culteral heritage, but who make friendships, learn discipline and teamwork.

It is only possible because of you, our generous donors.

The painting that you see here was completed by a 14 year old artist....

We are deeply grateful to you for your support!
