The Champey Academy of Arts is our arts school for disadvantaged children in central Phnom Penh. After sponsoring the Apsara Arts Association (AAA) for nearly 14 years, we decided in the autumn of 2012 to redirect our resources toward establishment of a new school in the center of the city. Our mission at the CAA, as with the AAA, is to introduce some of Phnom Penh's most disadvantaged children to the wonders of their nation's rich arts culture while helping them to experience the pride, self confidence and poise which come from mastering difficult skills.
Despite the fun “ clubhouse” atmosphere at Champey, students are serious about learning and many attend classes daily , 6 days per week.
Your support is what makes it possible for us to teach these students about Cambodia's rich cultural heritage.
We invite you to click on the links below to explore some of our galleries showing different CAA events and classes.
Thank you for your generous support.
