Wednesday, July 12 is  a 50% Donor Match Day beginning at 9:00am New York time

Paintings from our student art  exhibition in June

June 1 marked the beginning of  our first student exhibition at the prestigious Raffles Hotel Le Royal  in Phnom Penh. This exhibit is a a real breakthrough for our students, giving them an opportunity to showcase their talent  in a  public exhibition. The exhibit was well received, so much so, that Raffles has invited us to leave several of the paintings on display even though this particular show had ended and our  new  student exhibit  of ink drawings began on July 1.  These paintings, painted in traditional Cambodian style , were  completed over a period of several months and as you can see,  displays the considerable skills of  some of our senior students.

Our young artists  have been with us  for years, dedicating themselves to the task of becoming true artists.  The six paintings that you see in this  project update depict traditional Cambodian childrens' games.

The generous support of our donors over these many years provides free access to the arts for disadvantaged children and youth. Drawing, painting, music and dance lessons are offered year round and allows our students  to discover and develop their talents.

We are deeply grateful to you, our donors,  all for your support and we hope that you will continue help these young artists continue on their journey.
