This year we will host a 1-week summer camp for the youth in Haiti in collaboration with youth in New York. This summer camp will build on the topics discussed during the after-school and cultural programs. For $80 you can sponsor a child served by our tutoring center, to a week filled with fun and education! We seek to not only enhance their social skills but their cognitive development as well. Each camper will be provided with lodging, meals, and a hygiene kit amongst many other things.
A lot of the children who are able to attend school in Cazale, Haiti come from homes with illiterate parents, no electricity and an abundance of domestic responsibilities. Although CCCC is working closely with the schools and the community to provide a safe space for academic excellence our students are still at risk due to economic hardships.
As a gift to our dedicated students we offer a 1-week summer camp focused around a theme that promotes fellowship. Each day starts off with a seminar based on the word of the day (Hygiene, Education, Etiquette, Community) and ends with the campers displaying how they can incorporate it into their lives. Each camper is provided with lodging, meals, and a hygiene kit amongst many other things. Our goal is to inspire the next generation and give them all the tools to be extraordinary citizens.
CCCC is currently the only academic support center in the region of Cazale, Haiti. Our center is open 6 days a week and offers programs to students as well as community members. Our priority has and always will be education with our tutoring and computer programs, and library services.
