TIMEOUT4AFRICA SCHOOL/SKILL ACQUISITION PROGRAMME held in Jos, Nigeria at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican School in Rantya.
TimeOut4Africa Education and Sports Foundation continues to impact children in all parts of the county. Providing students with support on learning life skills will help them in and out of school. St. Bartholomew School is located in the Rantya area of Jos, Nigeria. Timeout4Africa Foundation partnered with St. Bartholomew to provide sewing skills training to students as a start on establishing an entrepreneurial club at the school.
With your generous donations, Timeout4Africa was able to donate 4 sewing machines and sewing kits to the school. The sewing machines and kits were used to help students acquire cloth making skills. Over 30 students, ages 9 through 15, participated in the program.
The Timeout4Africa leaders sends a special thank you to the project leader, Mrs Briggs, for facilitating this program. Mrs. Briggs shared that Reverend Moses. the coordinator at the school, expressed thanks to the foundation and the donors for the supplies to run the skill acquisition program.
Simon, a 12 year old student enrolled in the sewing classes, was very greatfull for the donations of the equipment and the establishment of the club. Simon expressed that the program will provide a foundation to help him pursue his passion for fashion design.
Thank you to all the Timeout4Africa donors for your continuous support. We would not be able to continue our programming without your support. Please continue to follow us on social media to see our progress.
