Empowering Young Athletes, One Game at a Time
This year, Timeout4Africa Foundation proudly sponsored a holiday basketball tournament for our Under-13 and Under-16 players, bringing together more than 120 schoolchildren for days filled with talent, teamwork, and a love for the game.
What makes this tournament even more meaningful? The winning players will receive cash prizes to help with their back-to-school needs—from books and uniforms to other essential school supplies.
For many of these young athletes, basketball is more than just a sport. It’s a pathway to confidence, discipline, teamwork, and lifelong friendships.
At Timeout4Africa, we believe that sports and education go hand in hand. Through programs like this, we’re creating opportunities that empower young people to thrive—not only in the classroom and on the court, but in life.
