The TimeOut4Africa Foundation continues to provide much needed support to children in Nigeria. Our next project will include donating school supplies and refurbished laptops to schools to support classroom instruction. The Foundation will be able to supply 2 schools with 20 computers for instruction. For the past 2 years, teachers have expressed the desire to improve their instructional practices with the use of modern technology. The laptops will be an avenue for students and teachers to connect virtually to online resources to support teaching and learning. The computers are scheduled to arrive in Nigeria before the start of the January semester. The computers will provide digital access to over 100 students.
We are very exited to announce that our project leader, Jonathan Kolo, was nominated to receive the African Community Service Award for the outstanding work done to support schools in Nigeria. The Awards Ceremony will be held at the Westin Hotel at the National Harbor in Maryland on November 4, 2017.
Thank you for your continuous support. TimeOut4Africa’s work would not be fulfilled without your generous donations. Please fill fee to share our work with friends and family. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter @Timeout4Africa.
