Hello Again Timeout for Africa Foundation Supporters,

With your generous support our project for school supplies have been a great success.  In the last few months, we were able to provide an additional 300 notebooks to 150 kids through our "poster child series", notebooks at the ECWA  Goodnews Primary School in Minna, Nigeria.

This "poster child series" notebook is when we pick a picture of one or two kids to use as the book cover for the notebooks given to a school we support. Faith and Oyenye were the two we picked from the ECWA school. The two kids were randomly picked.  Once the notebooks arrived and the kids saw their picture on the notebooks, they became instant "celebrities".  We were informed that the visual of their picture on the notebooks also changed the attitude of the 8 year old kids, inspiring them to work harder on the academics. There parents are also very thankful for this opportunity and stated that both children look forward to going to school every school day. 

The Principal has also expressed her sincere thank you to Timeout for Africa Foundation for the extra notebooks, which will be used for different subjects. The notebooks will also be used for underprivileged kids who otherwise would not be able to afford them.
