HelloTimeout 4Afica Foundation Family,
We are very excited to keep you informed about our project in Minna at the ECWA Primary School. Last week our Timeout 4Africa team visited the school to check on the students and the conditions of the school. Also they examined the donated furniture to see how it is holding. up.
Team leader Dr Kolo was warmly received by staff and students. Faith and Oyenye (our notebook poster girls) lead a class team to welcome them. They had lunch with the students and had a little chat session with the kids. Dr Kolo says the donated furniture is holding up very well. She also met with the Principal to talk about our next drive in Novermber, when we will be furnishing two more class rooms, covering 75 students and providing 150 students will notebooks and pencils.
We want to take this time to thank everyone for their continuous support, especially those who donated during the Microsoft Youth Spark bonus day. We raised over $17,000 which included the bonuses. Thank you very much! As we get to the end of the year we will be Hosting Our Annuall Basketball and Life Clinic in the last week of November.Stay tuned for updates and picture. Please remember to support our projects during the up-coming holiday season at www.Timeout4Africa.com. Also, like us on Facebook.
