Even while on holiday, our school kids remain active and full of energy. This year, Timeout4Africa Foundation proudly sponsored a holiday basketball tournament for our Under 14 year olds, over 120 school kids turned out, giving young players the chance to showcase their talent, teamwork, and love for the game.
What made it even more special was that winners received cash prizes to support their back-to-school needs—from buying books and uniforms to getting essential supplies.
For many of these kids, basketball is more than just a sport—it’s a tool for building confidence, discipline, and friendships. At Timeout4Africa, we’re committed to creating opportunities that blend sports and education, ensuring our youth are prepared not only for school but for life.
