Scarcity of Drinking Water in Tharparkar

AHD staff travelled remote parts of Tharparkar inclining Mithi, Chachro and Diplo Talukas, majority of rural people facing  water shortage and malnutrition, poverty increasing day by day, the bossiness and labor opportunities are very limited, AHD wants to help poor Thari people with skills of livelihood and WASH sector that rural people should have access to safe and clean drinking water  at their door step.

Presently drinking water situation is very scare and if some where available it is contaminated, we at AHD given trainings to rural people for access to safe and clean drinking water, but there is need to start work on construction of big water reservoirs , that rain water can be stored to help poor thari people

I hope our this project will be enable AHD to start work on water reservoirs construction

Women Raising Misri Golden Chicken provide by AHD for 300 families

As Tharparkar facing long disasters / drought situation since last many decades & about 7 years remain good (spell of rain) and then 7 years drought. The above situation is not good in any cost for the rural families.

AHD aimed to help out poor families and selected 300 women migrated from Tharparkar to near Tando Ghulam Ali areas for labor purposes. AHD women team helped them to raise poultry 24 birds for one family. The poultry birds distributed in last Sept 2016 and now the birds grown and giving eggs. Women eating eggs and also sold in local market, some time in village and some time in nearby market

We want to your support to raise more funds to help at least 500 women during 2017. Hop someone from you will be able to provide 7,200 chicken during next six months.
