As you perhaps know, we reach out to families affected by HIV/Aids. But what we much rather do, it stopping HIV from spreading. One of the ways we do this, is by warning young people for the risks of (unprotected) sex.
Last month our staff in Phang Nga (southern Thailand) organized a special focus group. We invited 12 young people from our care program and tought them about safe sex and taking care yourself and the people around you.
In Mukdahan (northeast Thailand) our staff organized a youth camp. Close to a 100 teenagers came over for fun, fellowship and training. A nurse from the local hospital came over to train young people in the area of STD's and safe sex.
With your support, we can keep on working with young people and protecting them against the risks of (unprotected) sex. Thank you for making this possible!
