Prenatal Care for 3,000 Pregnant Women

By Joy Ojochogwu Etubi | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We sincerely thank everyone who has contributed to the Support 3,000 Pregnant Women with Prenatal Care project. Your generosity shows care for mothers whose health and safety depend on timely support during pregnancy.

Many pregnant women in rural and low-income communities struggle to access basic prenatal services. Clinic visits may be far away, transport costs are high, and essential tests or supplements are often unaffordable. Without regular checkups, women face higher risks of infection, anemia, high blood pressure, and complications during childbirth. These challenges place both mothers and babies in danger.

This project is planned to support 3,000 pregnant women through basic prenatal checkups, pregnancy tests, supplements, clean delivery kits, and clear health information. Women will be linked to nearby clinics for monitoring, while community talks will explain warning signs and when to seek help. Transport support is also planned for women who live far from health facilities.

At present, although donations have been received, the funds available are not enough to begin the program. Activities such as clinic coordination, purchase of supplies, and outreach cannot start until more support is secured.

With adequate funding, this project can help women carry their pregnancies more safely, reduce emergency cases during delivery, and improve outcomes for mothers and newborns. We will continue to share updates as progress is made.

Thank you for standing with pregnant women and helping protect lives at a critical time.

Kind regards,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
