Many pregnant women in rural and low-income areas lack access to regular prenatal care. This leads to preventable problems during pregnancy, childbirth, or after delivery. This project will support 3,000 pregnant women with basic checkups, supplements, safe delivery kits, and health talks. Donations will help cover clinic visits, pregnancy tests, transport, and printed guides to reduce avoidable risks.
Many pregnant women, especially in rural and crowded urban areas, cannot access regular checkups or basic support during pregnancy. Clinics may be too far, or the cost of tests and drugs may be out of reach. Without care, they are at greater risk for infection, anemia, high blood pressure, and losing the baby or their own life during childbirth. Most of these risks can be avoided with early and regular care.
This project will link 3,000 pregnant women to local clinics and provide them with pregnancy tests, supplements, clean delivery kits, and health information. Women will receive at least one full checkup and be monitored during pregnancy. Community talks will explain the danger signs and where to go for help. Transport support will also be given for women who live far from clinics.
Women who receive prenatal care are more likely to deliver safely and give birth to healthy babies. With better knowledge and early support, the risk of death or emergency care is lower. Clinics will also be able to track and follow up with women in their area. Over time, this will improve survival rates and reduce the number of emergency cases during delivery.
