Summary This is a quarterly progress report ending June 2022 on “support 320 orphans with goat’s project in Kibuku, Pallisa and Butebo Districts in Uganda”. The project contributes to improved household incomes of households with orphans and vulnerable children to enable them secure sustainable income to bale have access to Medical treatment, scholastic materials and other home basic needs. Project Status: The project is currently implemented utilizing solely by passing over of she-goats produced by goats of the beneficiaries. . We are not realizing financial support from our donors yet there is increased number of orphans that require support. . Achievements: • Treated 112 goats for 18 orphans • Provided advisory services to 30 orphans whit goats • 8 she Goats were distributed to orphans • One orphans secured A calf from goats Challenges: • There is limited funding for the project. • High expectations from the community . • There is increased child, early and forced marriages among our orphans. • There is low involvement f the local community in preventing child abuse particularly orphans Recommendations: KADO still requests all stakeholder to consider dedicating their contribution to support our vulnerable Orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda.
