Dear future donors and supporters,
We thank you in advance for your interest in this project. So far, we have not received any donations, but the need remains urgent and pressing for these nursing students.
Across Nigeria, the ratio of nurses to patients is 1:1,600 (WHO), far below the recommended standard of 1:300. Nursing students are the future of healthcare, yet many of them lack the tools required to succeed in today’s digital learning environment. Of the 350 young women identified for this project, most come from low-income households and cannot afford laptops.
Without laptops, these students struggle to attend online classes, access medical journals, or complete assignments. This not only delays their education but also affects the future supply of trained nurses in hospitals and rural health centers.
This project will provide laptops to 350 female nursing students, helping them access lectures, conduct research, and prepare for professional exams. The laptops will be their primary tool for knowledge, training, and connection with global health resources.
We invite you to contribute to this cause. Your donation will give these future nurses the chance to learn without barriers and to serve patients more effectively when they graduate.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
