Bridging the Digital Gap:Laptops for Female Nurses

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

Thank you for your support and for standing with us to empower female nursing students in Nigeria. Your generosity helps give these aspiring healthcare professionals the tools they need to succeed in their studies and future careers.

Many female nursing students cannot afford laptops, making it difficult to attend online classes, access study materials, complete assignments, or develop critical digital health skills. The Support 350 Female Nursing Students with Laptops project aims to provide refurbished laptops preloaded with learning tools and medical software, helping students prepare for modern healthcare roles, telemedicine, and electronic records management.

Based on our market survey, the donations received so far can provide two laptops. The next steps include announcing an open and transparent application process, setting up a committee for screening and interviews, and identifying beneficiaries. In our next report, we hope to share the first beneficiaries’ names, schools, and photos.

While project execution is underway, we need more support to provide laptops to more students. May God bless you, and thank you for your continued generosity.

Warm regards,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
