Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation, alongside its social enterprise Samony Entrepreneurial Ventures LTD and driven by SOHF's Impact Nexus, is dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations. Our project, Support 350 Old People with Dementia in Imo State (54327), highlights our commitment to providing essential care and improving the quality of life for elderly individuals affected by dementia.
The Impact:
Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation (SOHF) and Samony Entrepreneurial Ventures LTD have been pivotal in bringing transformative change to the lives of older adults with dementia in Imo State. With a focus on holistic care and community involvement, we have made significant strides in addressing the needs of this vulnerable population.
Vision:
A society where elderly individuals with dementia receive the care, respect, and support they deserve to live dignified and fulfilling lives.
Goals:
- Provide essential care and support to 350 elderly individuals with dementia.
- Enhance awareness and understanding of dementia within the community.
- Offer training and resources to caregivers and families.

- Supported 15 elderly individuals with dementia.
- Conducted awareness campaigns in local communities to educate about dementia.
- Provided training sessions for 10 caregivers and family members.
