The children with disabilities face many problems every day and are not able to do their daily tasks by themselves. These children have to be dependent on their family members daily. There family members are also not able to do their work as they have to take care of the disabled child always as they could require anything anytime. The parents of these children have to be nearby these children and even are not able to sit freely. The disabled children need special attention as well as special care in order to learn their daily basic activities like being hygienic by combing hairs, brushing, face washing, hand washing etc.
In this context, RSKS India is already doing work for the development of the disabled and under this work, RSKS India organized home based rehabilitation with around 35 children with disabilities. In this work, the RSKS India team members went to the houses of these children with disabilities and tried to teach them that how they could do their daily activities easily and also educated them through different teaching models which are for disabled children. The RSKS India team members went door to door to the disabled children house and also taught the parents of these children about how to do home based rehabilitation activities. The RSKS Team members told the parents to keep hygienic the place where the disabled children are kept and also taught the disabled children different signs through which they can make their parents aware about the needs.
Through this home based rehabilitation, the condition the disabled children got improved. The parents of these disabled people got some relief and also they were able to understand the things required by the disabled child. The disabled child were able to do their daily life activities by themselves only and if they are not able to then they were taught how to call their parents and also wait for them. These children with disabilities were also taught with the help of education models so now they do know about numbers and alphabets. The parents of these disabled children and the disabled children itself thanked the RSKS India organization and appreciated the work of the organization.
Many thanks again for your support!!
