Dear Supporter,
Thank you for continuing to support and donate to our project. We appreciate your contribution knowing that times are tough and there are many deserving projects.
The children that arrive in our safe house are sometimes safe for the first time in their lives. Some have lived with trauma for many years. They may have had to witness Mum suffer different types of abuse and many have also suffered abuse themselves.
The children are enjoying the warm weather that has arrived, spending some time in the garden and in the paddling pool. It gives them an opportunity to experience being able to play without fear as any child should be able to do.
We continue to support the children to understand that the abuse was not their fault through both group and individual sessions.
Our children's team support children to increase their self esteem and confidence in their abilities.
Thank you again from us all for your help in making this possible.

This month the playroom at the safe house is having a glow up! We will be getting rid of old games with missing pieces, removing dried up play doh and used up colouring books. It's going to have a lick of paint and some new toys, games, play doh, crafts and colouring books. We are so excited to see the childrens faces when they enter the playroom.
Play is so important for children as it not only gives them time to just be children but it can also help them to explain how they are feeling.

This month with the help of people like you we have been able to treat the children in refuge to a magic and balloon show. This was a lovely treat for them and they all enjoyed it very much.
