Last Thursday we had our first first ever Interfaith Singing Evening!
It was an inspiring and fun evening, with music from different traditions sung in Arabic, Hebrew, English- and even a little Finnish. Around fifty people joined us to celebrate the upcoming holidays and interfaith friendship through music. The IEA band, Wast Al Tarik, gave us an incredible performance, playing Christmas and Hanukkah songs, as well as traditional Arabic songs and some of their own original repertoire. We thank them and the Felm center for making this great evening happen, and we hope to see you all in our next Interfaith Singing Evening next year.
We would also like to take the opportunity to wish our Christian friends a Merry Christmas and our Jewish friends a Happy Hanukkah!
