Support a Peace Farm in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Dear Friends,

we hope to find you in good health and spirits...

we want to share with you our plans that we created during the winter period.

we started a day center project for young people.

namely, in cooperation with primary and secondary schools, we hired students from the volunteer club who act as a coordinating body that will create the content for the day center together with us.

for the summer period, we plan to hold three peace camps for young people.

after that, we will hold a peace caravan for young people, through which they will be able to get to know the beauties of their homeland, and to hold panel discussions in several cities.

the realization of a Retreat camp for our participants is also planned.

of course, there is also the Peace Week, as our indispensable activity for many years, which takes place in September.

through photos of our activities, we hope to be able to convey to you a part of the atmosphere of all those activities.

I am delighted to inform you about the latest events at our Peace Farm. I hope you are reading this in good health and even better spirits

In September, true to tradition, we organized the 14th International Peace Week, uniting dozens of peace advocates from various parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina and around the world. Throughout this week, from September 16th to 21st, we dedicated our time to learning about peacebuilding, engaging with inspiring speakers, working on the farm, and preparing it for the upcoming winter. As we informed you earlier, our greenhouse is ready, and we have been diligently preparing the soil for planting.

October brought one of the most significant visits to our Peace Farm when children from several elementary schools in Sanski Most explored our Peace Farm. These young explorers spent a school day immersed in nature, playing on the trampoline, on the volleyball court, and participating in educational workshops prepared by their teachers within the unique ambiance of the Peace Farm.

Our efforts to enhance the Peace Farm experience include intensive planning for the seminar house and accompanying facilities. Recently, an exciting opportunity has emerged for the accelerated realization of this project. I look forward to sharing uplifting news with you in our next report.
