Greetings from Uganda!
It's been a busy time at Uganda Hands for Hope with our 3rd term just getting under way.
We're now been able to include 21 children into our special needs class but we still have room for more kids to join our other programs - they just need sponsors! Please reach out to us if you are interested in making a huge difference in a child's life.
Our tailoring program has been growing with the help of our Japanese volunteers and we are now training secondary students as well as mothers and caregivers. We are always looking for more volunteers, please reach out of you might be interested!
Our dance lessons have been a huge success - the children even won first place after performing Irish Dancing at Africa's first ever Irish Dancing Feis recently! They were overjoyed when presented the trophy!
In more difficult news, we've been suffering from some terrible flooding recently and many of the childrens' homes have been badly damaged. They need your support more than ever and we're already planning ahead for Giving Tuesday next month. It falls on November 28th this year so if you have plans to contribute this year, please consider donating on Giving Tuesday so your donation will have even more of an impact.
Thank you, as always, for your support.
